Spread a Little Love

I love creating.

I seeing something come from nothing.

I love colorful candy. I also love eating it.

I love sharing. Sometimes. But not when it’s candy.

I love laughter; it’s probably my favorite sound of all.

I love the smell of bread baking. It just smells like life.

I love the feeling after conquering something I thought was impossible.

I love those “ah-ha!” lightbulb moments.

I love that you’re reading this, and I’d love to know what you love.

  1. I love that you post on a Saturday. Makes my 16 hour shift a little nicer. Especially if I had me some Sour Patch Kids right about now.

Seriously, I love when my boys hug me and say “I love you, Daddy.” Unfortunately, it usually happens when I leave for a 16 hour shift.

  2. I love wandering into a used bookstore… the smell of books… walks in the woods… morning… spending time with my wife.

  3. I love listening to my kids laugh…even if it is 2am. I love encouraging art out of people who don’t think they are creative and seeing them awed by their own work. I love chocolate in every shape, size and presentation. I love doing a project with my husband. I love being weird and it being OK 🙂

  4. I love writing, reading, the smell of books, traveling to new places, listening to the rain, riding my bike, sitting on my front porch, working out and impacting the lives of young people.

    1. Can’t disagree with any of those Jason. Especially the listening to the rain… I love the luxury of being able to take a nap while it’s raining. Why is that so magical? 😉

  5. Being a new dad, writing, cold-press coffee made at home, going on adventures – SCUBA/ surfing/snowboarding, reading, the smell of wood and leather, date nights with my wife, being out in creation.

    1. That’s an awesome list Cole! I did a climbing course yesterday that you would’ve loved! Oh, and speaking of cold press coffee, I’m definitely getting that in a few minutes.

  6. This post reminds me of a song I learned when I was in elementary school (1st grade):
“I love life, I love to love. I love the things that are from above: mountains, flowers, bugs, and tress, and sticky honey from the bees.”
The tune is catchy and I find myself singing it every once in a while.

    Thanks for the post.
