How humbling and ecstatic to be able to do a tiny fraction of what the Creator did. Even as I write I tremble at the possibility that I might be arrogant, comparing what we do with what He did. But how DOES any artist create, without acknowledging in his/her soul the realm beyond what our senses register? We are in this world, but not of it.
I can’t help but associate these concepts with faith, which is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (Full disclosure: I had to ask my husband to cite the chapter and verse, because I am nowhere near the Bible scholar that he is.)

I think that Hebrews 11:1 reference is the best example of the ‘world within a world’ concept.

It’s amazing how mch we can see if we just will.
It’s all about having the eyes to see, is it not? Creativity is in this way akin to faith: believing is seeing.

Love your creativity definition. This explains why I can’t tell my wife about upcoming posts when she asks… it sounds crazy to try to describe a creative idea, as opposed to creating it, and letting it speak for itself.
