Before heading to work today, I stumbled across two interesting articles that I know you’ll love. Ever thought of “iPad performance art?”
Not until now…
The first was from the online media site Mashable in a post titled “Former Print Publication Now Produces iPad-Only Performance Art.”
iPad Performance Art Video Demo
The second post, related to the first, was from Wood Stove House in Lancaster, PA.
Jason Mundok caught my eye with the catchy title: “I have a great idea for a show! Let’s buy a building!” He outlines myriad non-conventional performances spaces used to give artists a platform to pour into the community. Nicely done Mr. Mundok!
Thanks for the shout out, my friend. That iPad stuff is truly amazing! Love seeing boundaries being stretched in all directions.
My pleasure! Thanks for the great post you wrote as well… very inspiring about pushing the limits.
That was amazing, Andrew! Thanks for posting those links! My creativity comes from a much less interesting place today…the waffle maker.
It’s all about the coconut oil and bananas.
Mmmmmm. Waffles…
And you just took it to a whole new level with the coconut oil and bananas. I’ll be right over…
When I first glanced at the still-shot of the video, I thought, whoa, is Andrew wearing tights? Ha! Awesome video though, thanks for sharing!
I’m wearing tights right now Todd. You never know when you’re going to need to dance. 😉
That must be how YOU are expressing your creativity! I’d imagine they would do the trick – they offer support, but they breathe – perfect recipe for an impromptu dance at work!
I would get the evil eye from the boss… and then I’d pirouette my way to the unemployment line.
Which is why I just dance in my heart. Everyone wins that way.
Well, not today but last Saturday, we were extending ourselves—around the pole. No cameras. Just dim lights against a purple wall, and shimmering giant sequins on the instructor’s halter top. Sometimes creativity is best expressed in front of a very select few ; )
