I shopped online.
And still I think he’d be happy with a box of Little Debbie Nutty Bars after all is said and done. And yes, one year, that was his gift. And he loved it.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, I realize many of us want something different, something left-field, something beyond cologne, neckties, and renewals to Golf Digest.

Because he taught you so much about how to budget your money, he’ll appreciate any gift you can buy for less than $25 bucks.
(Note to Dad: I have the card… and, as you can see, I’m working on a the gift. I didn’t want to do the cologne thing because I think you’re still using the stuff I got you ten years ago. But hopefully the Nutty Bars are gone by now. If not toss ‘em out. You may have more coming your way.)
