Here’s What I [fill in the blank]

I say I want                                                  .

I really want                                                  .

My way of making this dream a reality is                                          .

What You Want?

In Conclusion:

1. Know what you want.

2. Make sure it’s truly what you want and not just what you say you want.

3. Take action to get what you want.

Dreams and ideas are nothing without implementation.

How are you putting action to your wants and dreams?

  1. Action is key and without it our dreams and desires won’t be accomplished. I’m putting action each week by blogging about leadership. I’m also working on some different projects that would allow people to become better leaders and people.

    1. Dreams die unless they have an action plan, like you do Dan.

Congrats on working on those projects. Can’t wait to see ’em.

  2. As Jon Acuff would say, I’m blogging and “recovering” my dream. I think the act of writing every day is making me take the journey to really re-discover what I’ve wanted to do all along.

    1. It’s fun to hop over to your blog, Larry, and see what you’re musing about… what you’re ‘recovering.’

Thanks for sharing it with us.

  3. Ive seen the biggest challenge for most people getting what they want is an actions plan. They have this great dream they want to make a reality, but have no idea how to take that first step from where they are to where they are going. The sad thing is, most of those first steps are incredibly easy. We just think they are hard. Great post, Andrew!

  4. I would agree with Larry that part of the “want” to be a writer has been to “do”- to actually start a blog a write consistently, and form relationships with other bloggers. Thanks for always sparking engaging discussion over here, Andrew.

  5. Passion is the way of making dreams reality.
    There’s that “p” word again.

Same one I picked for your ‘OneWord 365’ post on Jan. 2nd.
    Funny how that happens, huh?
